The Hazleton Junior Bowlers Program, conducted on Saturdays, is split into (2) 14 week seasons where bowlers can participate in one or both seasons.
Having two seasons allows bowlers to participate in bowling while still allowing time for other seasonal sports.
Bowlers may pre-bowl 4 times per season which allows a bowler to bowl 3 games in advance when a scheduling conflict would have otherwise caused the bowler to be absent on a saturday.
The cost is only $9.00 a week per bowler and includes 3 games, bowling shoes, awards & parties!
All bowlers (except Bumper Thumpers) are sanctioned by the USBC at a yearly cost of $17.00 per bowler with discounts offered for bowlers returning from the previous season. The sanction fee is valid for the 2009-2010 season, regardless of the length of the league.
Sanction includes:
- A new USBC Youth Jersey
- USBC Youth Membership Card
- 4 Issues of US Youth Bowler Magazine
- USBC Recognized Average
- Ability to participate is USBC-Certified Tournaments
- Enhanced Youth Awards Program
- League Award Emblems
